Pink Together Giveaway
PinkTogether is a national campaign to support those impacted by breast cancer and to help raise awareness of the disease. Everyone can share hope by posting and reading inspiring stories of breast cancer survivors and supporters within the community by going to PinkTogether.
This October, General Mills donated Two Million to Susan G. Kormen for the cure and also contributed $1 for people who interacted with the PinkTogether site. Even though October is the official Breast Cancer Awareness Month, too many women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer and they need your support over at PinkTogether EVERY MONTH.
If you are a Yoplait lover like myself, save those lids!! For every pink lid sent in December 31, 2009 Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure! You can register to track your lids online by creating, joining a team or go solo! I joined team ” Hershey Trust Company ” with 103 lids and counting in the team! ( read the Save Lids, Save lives mailing guide. )
The Circle of Promise site shares even more information on how to get involved and inspiring stories as well. Also, you can join Susan G. Korman for the cure on Facebook or check out some inspiring videos on YouTube.
MyBlogSpark.com has provided a “Inspiring Hope gift basket” for ONE of my lucky readers that includes a sleeved travel mug, a running ribbon charm bracelet, a pink leather strap key chain, a pink cinch bag, and a set of inspirational note cards. ( All of the gift basket items are from ShopKomen.com, where 25 percent of the merchandise purchase price benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the fight against breast cancer. )
To enter: Head over to the PinkTogether site on MySpace and post some words of support or encouragement for those recently diagnosed and let me know you did in a comment. If you do not have a MySpace account, leave your words in a comment here on Webfloss and I will pass it along for you!
Or, just head over to the Breast Cancer site, where just your web click can help fund FREE mammograms!

Cool prize! I don’t know why, but I can’t access the Pink Together site on Myspace now, and I haven’t got a Myspace account anyway. I’d like to say to women recently diagnosed to be brave and strong. Breast cancer can be cured. My dad had cancer himself two years ago and it was an ordeal for the whole family, but he was cured, thank God.
I’m bookmarking the Breast Cancer site so that I can remember to click again in the future.
