When I opened the box from MBS and seen the bags of Nut Cluster I was feeling indifferent.
I’m not a health food junkie, nor do I eat lots of junk food, I would say I am somewhere in the middle. I try to eat healthy, but every once in a while, watch out, cause I am going to go to town on some chocolate. So the green bags of Nature Valley nut clusters showing their clusters of nuts with no chocolate or anything remotely full of sugar, but ONLY nut and granola, well, they were pretty intimidating.
I decided to break the Nut Clusters out for some real testing during a game of Smarty Pants. There were five of us: my husband, my brother in law, my oldest teenage girl, my youngest tweenage girl and myself.
Now, besides my brother and law and myself, I’ve rarely ever seen my husband nor my children eat raw whole nuts. Peanut butter – yes. Granola bars – yes…with chocolate.
We received four bags of different flavored Nut Clusters.
The flavors are listed in the order of preference:
Roasted Almond
Honey Roasted Peanut
Roasted Cashew
Nut Lovers
When I passed the bags around I was very surprised, no SHOCKED to see everyone, yes EVERYONE eating the different flavors of Nut Clusters. I’m thinking to myself, I can hardly get these kids to eat anything remotely healthy without suiting up in full armor, and they are just chomping away at these wholesome, ALL natural, Nut Clusters?
But, when I tried a few of the flavors, I knew why my kids liked them so much. The Nut Clusters were not like anything I have tasted before. The Nut Clusters were a perfect blend of sweet and salty. I couldn’t believe how good these HEALTHY ALL NATURAL Nut Clusters tasted.
This whole experience changed the way I looked at healthy food forever, no longer was I intimidated by my fears of no flavor in healthy food. Thank you Nut Clusters.
To be honest, I might not of picked these up in the store isle, but now, the Nut Clusters are an officially approved snack by everyone snack of my household.
