Mountain Dew Ultra Violet

in Consumer Alerts

Diet Mountain Dew UltraViolet will be available nationwide for 12 weeks beginning Monday, Aug. 10th 2009.

Diet Mountain Dew UltraViolet, on store shelves for a limited time beginning next week, combines the light citrus flavor of Diet Mountain Dew with a juicy rush of mixed berries without the calories.

Now, what have we all learned about beverage companies that try to tweak the flavors and/or packaging of brand-loyal consumer products? Two words: EPIC FAIL.

I am not a fan of carbonated beverages, although I have fell victim to Sierra Mists’ Cranberry Splash, I’m not sure my love for it is necessarily the taste or due to the fact I got the 2 liters for .25 each…

If I had the chance to try the Mt. Dew Ultra I might give it a whirl.

Oh Kristen, I loved Code Red and the Orange one (what was that one called again?). I first read about Ultra Violet here,

and then tried some. Very good flavor, esp, for a diet soda.
