First of all I should tell you that I have never been much of a coffee drinker and my husband is always in a hurry in the mornings and he disliked the taste instant coffee. But, when I was sent a Keurig Platinum for inclusion in the Holiday Guide, my view on coffee in general changed.
Now that that we have the Keurig Coffee Brewer I have found myself actually drinking coffee and liking it. I’m up to about 10 cups a week. That may not sound like very often, but this is coming from someone that NEVER drank coffee.
I don’t “do” caffeine… ( can you imagine me + caffeine?! ) and I am sure many people just gasped and current Keurig owners winced, but you don’t have to drink caffeinated beverages to enjoy the Keurig. I use it for decaffeinated coffee, tea and my favorite – hot cocoa. My husband on the other hand is the opposite, so it works out great really.
The Keurig Platinum is so quick and easy and there are many types of coffee it’s essentially like having your own cafe’ in your kitchen. I’m not kidding either. There are endless flavors and varieties. The Keurig Coffee Brewer literally brews fresh coffee in less than a minute and if you prefer you can even set the timer to make the coffee at any time for your convenience. I didn’t use the timer feature yet, but I’m sure it would be great to have a cup of coffee ready for you as soon as you woke up. I don’t really find a need for the timer really, since my coffee is brewed almost immediately after I hit the brew button.
The Keuring platinum also allows you to make English Breakfast Tea and Hot Cocoa
like I mentioned earlier. The nicest feature about Keurig to me, is that it doesn’t force you to be locked into just using their coffee flavors. You can buy a Keurig Reusable Coffee Filter

The Keurig Platinum also allows you to brew different cup sizes, from tea size to “wake up from coma” size and at different temperatures as well. I’ve been experimenting with all the features and I really enjoy how easy it is to use. Really, all you do is place the little K-cup in top and mash the “BREW” button. I like how it looks too. We have stainless steel in our kitchen and the Keurig Platinum compliments my decor perfectly. You can purchase other size brewers in alternative colors as well. I’m a geek so I couldn’t settle for anything but the Platinum series, but if size doesn’t matter to you, the other series are just as great.
