The correct answer is $2.
But, the World Reserve Monetary Exchange, thinks you want to pay $17 + $5 shipping for a custom $2 bill.
The $17 charge wasn’t the most appalling part — it was the $5 shipping charge. I mean $5 to ship a $2 bill?? That’s flipping outrageous.
Although, so is a paying $17 for $2. I’m not the best at math, but something seems very wrong with those figures.
The sad part is, that the World Reserve Monetary Exchange ( side note: beware of companies that sound too official… ), target the elderly for the most part with these 2 page ad spreads that present themselves as an actual news story. I presented the facts to you in a manner that would not be unclear in any way, but the ads this company are trying to lure our parents and grandparents with, may be worded in just a tricky enough way to get orders.
Warn everyone you know, that just because an ad reads an item is “collectible”, the worth of the item is not how much you paid for it, but how much you can get for it, which in this case, is $2.
