Getting paid to complete offers is NOT for beginners. There is just too much you must be aware of for someone that is just getting started making money online to just jump into this category. So, in this article, I am directly addressing an audience that is familiar with these offers already.
Being paid to complete offers is a great way to do extra income. But, you need to be very, very careful with these opportunities and here is why…
How does it all work?
When you complete an offer on any of the GPT sites, the company gets a referral bonus. It’s pretty simple. You request a newsletter, you get paid .50, because you signed up through them, they get $1.50…It’s win-win…kinda. But, that’s the way it works. It’s a love-hate relationship.
By now, most of you “just know” the shady companies or how to spot one. It’s the same process with these deals, the same concepts. For example, if the deal pays out over $2.00 usually you are most likely going to have to supply credit card information for a trial offer of some sort, which is something I DO NOT recommend doing, not because you won’t get paid, you will get credit, but because you have to be on a whole different level to get started with those deals.
You’ll need to keep accurate records of what you sign up for, how long you have to cancel and where you signed up in the first place. The deals that require you to try Netflix, as an example, can pay you as much as $25 dollars, but if you don’t cancel before the trial period, well, you are pretty screwed…You can request a refund, but it’s 50-50 if you’ll get one. If you follow all the directions on the offers, you’ll be fine, but for me at least, it’s too much work.
Personally, I do the FREE DEALS only. The ones where you have to sign up for a newsletter or request more information. They usually pay around $.50 and take about one minute to sign up for. You will not make millions, but you can easily rack up a nice amount in a short period of time.
The trick is to belong to a few different companies and check those companies all at the same time of the day, say, before bed. Then you can fill out duplicate offers, from different companies and with different emails, without getting all confused – because a lot of the companies, have the same offers… Also, sign up for the different companies with different emails. WebFloss, Webfloss1, Webfloss2….emails like that would be easy to remember and use.
Again, doing the offers that require a credit card are AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you feel uncomfortable with a particular offer on a site, skip it, there will be more, I promise. A few bucks now, is not worth a lot of headache later.
You can’t really go wrong with the newsletter and request more information offers. If in doubt, stick with those.
If you have any questions about a specific offer or company, shoot me an email and I’ll reply usually within a few hours if not less.
