About Freebies Listed
The Freebies listed on WebFloss are cherry picked from all over the web, just for you. We do not list hundreds of freebies per day because we believe quality is better than quantity. We only list from reputable companies that have a proven track record of making good on their promises.
Freebie offers require, at minimum, – your name, mailing address and email information. You might have to subscribe to a FREE newsletter or something comparable to be eligible for a freebie, this is standard practice.
On occasion, freebies might be limited, canceled or substituted. This tends to happen every once in a while, but does not mean that the freebies listed on Webfloss were a scam or that your personal information is being used fraudulently. Sometimes, demand is greater then supply, it happens.
Freebies can take between 4-12 weeks to arrive, so please be patient. The best thing to do is to request, bookmark, and then forget.
You will very rarely find freebies on WebFloss that are for samples, trial sizes or electronic goods. We avoid listing freebies with no or low monetary value since there are many other great sites that specialize in those types of fun freebies.
Webfloss does not list freebies for you, from the following companies:
- QualityHealth – freebies have a low arrival rate
- EverSave – freebies require repeated input of personal information that mimic surveys
- TeenFreeWay – 50/50 chance of arrival, some sketchy offers.
To protect yourself further, we offer the following advice regarding freebies for you:
Freebies should be FREE, no credit card verification, shipping fees or any other hidden requirements.
You should not have to fill out tiered offers such as “gold or silver” or have to fill out separate offers to receive a freebies.
99% of the time, freebies are offer DIRECTLY from the companies web site. If you see a freebie submit form on a 3rd party website (any other site the parent company does not run), I’d stay away. And I don’t mean like the links you see here or elsewhere to the sites for the actual freebies, I am referring to, for example, if a site had a form on that claimed if you filled it out, you’d receive a freebie from “suchandsuch” company. Links to the freebies direct from the companies on 3rd party sites are OK, forms that are submittable on sites other then the parent companies are NOT.
You should never have to sign up, subscribe or give any personal information away on a 3rd party site to get more details about a freebie. For example, if you seen on a 3rd party site that they will tell you where to: “Get a free CD if you send us your email!” – that’s a HUGE red flag to stay AWAY. Again, this only applies to 3rd party sites, not the company itself, where requests for email and other information are common practice.
